systemBash is my blog about System Administration, Smart Home Technology, and other technology topics which interest me, and may be of interest to you as a technologist.

Since 2006 when I started this site, I’ve gone on to become a staff writer for MakeUseOf and an Editor at Lifehacker. Then in 2012 I began working for XDA Developers as the CTO and resident hacker, and we grew that company into a network of sites which we sold to Valnet in 2022.

Currently I am consulting and working to build technology products. If you’re interested in connecting, drop me a line!

You can find me on X at @ddrager, on Mastodon, and on LinkedIn.
